FAQ
What kinds of Japan projects can I ask about?+
Anything that needs a real person on the ground in Japan: research, verification, contacting a business or supplier, attending a meeting or trade show, testing a product as a local user, or a broader multi-step project. If you’re not sure it fits, describe the goal and Eichan will tell you.
What happens after I submit a request?+
Eichan reviews what you’ve shared and follows up to clarify the goal, scope, deliverables, and timing. From there you’ll receive a written scope and quote before any work begins.
How is pricing determined?+
Pricing depends on the scope, time required, and any third-party or out-of-pocket expenses involved. There’s no fixed price list because every project is different — you’ll always see a quote before agreeing to anything.
How are travel, purchases, shipping, third-party fees, or other expenses handled?+
Any required expenses are identified and agreed in advance as part of the written scope and quote, then covered as part of the project.
Are results guaranteed?+
No. Eichan can guarantee the work agreed in the scope — research completed, contact attempted, a visit made, evidence gathered — but not outcomes like a reply, a deal, or supplier acceptance, which depend on third parties.
What kinds of work does Eichan not take?+
Legal, tax, investment, regulated professional, appraisal, authenticity, or specialist certification work. Requests outside a workable scope may also be declined.
What will I receive at the end of the project?+
Deliverables depend on the project, but typically include a written summary, evidence such as photos or documents, findings, and recommended next steps.
